Should some parts of celebrities' lives be off-limits to the public, or is giving up privacy a fair price for being famous?

View 514 Answers

Of course celebrities should have privacy in parts of their lives. They're still human and some celebrities that are parents don't want their kids in the spotlight as well. But the paparazzi doesn't know what boundaries are, so its hard for them to gain privacy. When you're famous, you've gotta be ready for pictures to snap and reporters wanting to talk to you at any given moment.

And WOW!!! It was fucking amazing!! Simply the BEST concert I have been to yet!! Even my mom thought it was the best show she's been too, who has been to a lot of shows!!
I knew that this was going to be quite an interesting night when the drunk bunny came on stage. He came on stumbling all over with a beer bottle in his hand. He downed two beer bottles, stumbled around more, messed around with the audience, and then went offstage. Soon after, the lights went out and Green Day took the stage.
One thing that amazed me was that Billie Joe has complete command of the audience! When they came on stage, he walked around shouting, "GET UP! GET THE FUCK UP!" and the audience complied. When he said jump, we jumped. When he said clap, we claped. When he started waving his hands, we waved our hands with him. But he really did create intimacy. He brought audience members onto the stage occasionally for them to sing with him, or in one case, play Billie's guitar for a song. He asked the audience towards the end of the show, "Does anybody know how to play guitar?" "Does anybody know how to play Jesus of Suburbia?" (I flipped out when he asked this. I LOVE Jesus of Suburbia!!) He found a guy, gave him the guitar, and then they started the song.
For Boulevard of Broken Dreams, he started singing the song and then stopped, but the song kept going. The audience kept singing the song and Billie just sat down on the stage and listened to us. Nothing else. Just listened. Eventually, he started singing again, but I thought it was so cool that he just sat down and listened.
There were soooo many amazing moments in the almost 3 hours of singing that it would be really hard to say all of them. I had sooooooo much fun and it won't be a night that I will forget easily! Green Day are a band that really know how to put on a show and have a blast with it. I'll definately be seeing them whenever they come down here, and so will my mom!

PS: Tre Cool is now bleach blonde!! He looks so awesome!! =D

Well for one, a few of my friends have been crying over Ryan and Jon leaving Panic, and one of them was shocked that I wasn't grieving as well. I find it hard for me to cry over this kind of stuff. And on top of it, I'm more pissed than upset. So I don't think that I will cry at all for what had happened.

To add to this..... I HAS A NEW USERPIC!!! AND I LOVE IT!!!!
Ain't he pretty??? ^_^

Take this as my resignation. I'm not writing any more fan fics ever again. With the departure of Ryan Ross and Jon Walker, Panic will never be the same again. How they manage to stay together is beyond me. Ryan was the lyricsist, the one who wrote their entire first album which brought them to fame. Then Jon saved the band by replacing the bassist that wasn't as passionate about the music as he is. Without them, there is no band, even with the amazing vocals of Brendon Urie and the excellent drummer Spencer Smith. It's not going to be the same, and without Ryan and Jon, I refuse to recognize Panic At The Disco as my favorite band.
So this is my official resignation. Panic is no longer my favorite band and I will not write any more fan fics. It's a shame, too. My beta for my next one (the first one I would post to the slashatthedisco community), Anna was saying how good the prolouge and first chapter and how this story was going to be my best yet. I haven't been able to write it lately because of my new amazing laptop not having Microsoft Word on it. There may be a day where I will dig into the past and pull that story out, but not anytime soon.
Well, off the depressing subject, I just saw the second Transformers movie in an IMAX theater. It was amazing!!!! A million and one times better than the first. If you haven't seen it yet, then see it at your nearest IMAX theater. It's worth it. The special effects, story, and acting was just impeccable. Totally riveting and engaging. AND not to mention a new Green Day song, 21 Guns, was in it!!! =D

26th-Jun-2009 11:08 am - I need to update... Now....

Okay, after the events of yesterday, I feel like I need to update my journal. In the morning, my dad told me that Farrah Fawcett, one of the original Charlie's Angels had lost her battle with cancer. But, I would have never known her if my parents wouldn't have told me about her. Honestly, I am more saddened by the death of "The King of Pop", Michael Jackson. He was 50 years old, too young of an age to die. I know that all of the crap he was taking for his condition wasn't that good for him, but he still shouldn't have died. Yes, he wasn't going to make any more music. Yes, he had done some pretty horrible things in his life, but that shouldn't overshadow his good points. He made amazing music with his family, the Jackson 5, but also on his own, with Thriller and Beat It and his other massive hits. He certainly was an amazing dancer, better than I could ever be. I didn't grow up with his most popular music, but I still am grieving for his death. Some people I know (I won't be specific) say that his death wasn't so much of a tragedy, but I still am grieving, and will keep on grieving. RIP Michael Jackson.

On a lighter note, I am beginning to write a brand new slash story. I'm not done with Chapter 1 yet, but it will be done soon. Anna will beta it and I will be posting it on slashatthedisco! I'm so excited!! This will be my first story posted to the community!

I'll try to update more often! =)

I kinda haven't updated on here in forever, so I will... =)
Well, I broke up with my supposed first love Robert cause he was soooo not easy-going.... One little thing I said or did that shouldn't cause any problem at all became a huge thing..... Now he and I don't talk and the site of him makes sick... -_-
I went to states 2 weeks ago with my drama troupe and had soooooo much fun!!! I met up with an old friend named Daniel there who was there with his school. At the dance, he and I got to hang out and dance together practically all night. Well, I met his other friends. One of them, Jamie, was really cool, so I got his number and we started texting. He's almost exactly like me. He has the same music taste as me, he wants to go into psychology for a profession, and there's sooo much other stuff. Well, I went to the beach with him and Paige on Sunday, and it was sooooo much fun!! I got dunked in the water about 50 billion times by him and I got a reeeeallly bad sunburn on my back, so bad to where I can't carry my backpack on my back... @_@
Well, at the beach and at his house afterwards, there were moments where I thought that we should kiss. He would tickle me and I would get that feeling or we would just simple get close. I wasn't going mad, cause I talked to him last night about it and he had the same feelings too. But he wouldn't kiss me cause of Daniel. I told him that if we're together again, which we will, then he shouldn't ignore those feelings and kiss me cause it's likely that I'm feeling that way too. Hopefully that he'll listen! =)
My iPhone app for LJ doesn't allow me to post a song, so I'll list one now that has a lot of meaning in my life right now: I Think Im Ready by Katy Perry.

At the moment, I'm at a baseball game with my mom, uncle, and his friend. It's kind of hard to watch the game when the rain is pouring down. It keeps on slowing down and then pouring down hard again. It's quite weird and annoying. So due to the rain, the game is not running...
Why is this state called "The Sunshine State"? It keeps on freaking raining! And this is supposed to be the dry season for us! Yes, Florida technically does have two seasons: the wet season and the dry season. You can tell when it's the dry season when it doesn't rain as much as usual.... xD
To everyone who planned a day at the beach (and maybe at the cast party that I'm missing), I am truly sorry for the rain ruining your plans. I didn't have anything to do with it. =)
